Bonds Between Mothers and Daughters

April 8, 2014 by Debi

Have you ever read a novel and couldn’t wait to see how it ended? And when you were finished, found yourself reflecting on the details of the story for many days after?

I recently finished such a book. And as I go about doing the daily routines of life I catch myself stopped by a thought the book stirred in me, sometimes mesmerized for what seems like hours! This one sure has a hold on me…

It is a story about mothers and daughters and how their lives unfold over time and across cultures and continents. Perhaps because my own mother and sister and niece are to visit soon I am stirred by this captivating tale… Who knows.

If you are looking for a heartwarming and real story about women and stress and resilience this one is a “keeper.” Let me know what you think after you read it!
