Do You Struggle With Finding Child Care?

November 14, 2013 by Debi

Finding adequate child care for your children is a challenge for most parents. Some families are lucky to have extended family nearby to help out. Others are fortunate to have a strong network of neighbors and friends who share time and resources.

Raising my own daughters I found that the “mommy” network that I was part of saved the day! We would work out a monthly, if not weekly, schedule to watch each other’s children while the other had work, school, or personal commitments. The children developed lasting friendships… Years later these families we shared those early years with remain good friends, even if we don’t get to see each other often.

There are many quality child care centers throughout our communities. Look for high star ratings. Get recommendations from your trusted friends and neighbors. Be sure to visit each facility, meet with the staff, and take your child (children) on a tour to get their reactions. Hope you find the best option that suits your family needs!

Here is a good resources to help you locate child care in your area.
