Weather and Moods

March 11, 2015 by Debi

Last week we were buried in snow and ice on the heels of a what seemed like a long and cold winter. Moods were low and spirits down. It seemed as if the cold and dreary season would never end. Everyone I knew and came in contact with was expressing the same woes…  Enough! We have all had enough of this weather!!!

Yet only one week later the blue skies are brilliant and sunny and temperatures in the mid-70s! The old daffodils are up along the front walk. Sigh…  What a relief to feel the warmth and sunshine…

Our moods are better. Spirits have lifted. We have hope for a brighter existence, which seemed almost buried only one week ago. Yeah!!! Spring is almost here!!! I feel like taking a long walk and going for a swim. Even our contractor sent a message and asked if he could repair the worn deck boards and take advantage of the nice day. Of course!
