Lasting Love

September 21, 2015 by Debi

As time passes I am increasingly fascinated by those older couples who have remained together for a long time. It amazes me how they can stay in a relationship for many years, through all the ups and downs and changes that life brings.

How do they do it? How do they hang in there? What is their secret?

I think they must make time to talk to each other. They must be willing to know not only their shared past, but how they each are changing with the passage of time. And more importantly, they must be willing to be open to how they may grow as individuals as well as a couple in the years ahead. What are your thoughts?
