Gratitude is an Attitude

October 17, 2019 by Debi

Being in the mountains always fills me with gratitude. Perhaps it is the fresh air combined with magnificent vistas that takes my breath away, filling me with wonder and hope for the future. Energy levels soar to amazing heights.

Heaven on Earth

It is a gift to be in a setting that offers the opportunity to pause and reflect on what is positive and meaningful in this life on earth. Several days in such a state of awe leaves me feeling truly grateful for all that I have — loving and supportive family, genuine and trusted friends, health, and peace of mind.

I have never feared those mountains in the distance…

Or settled for the path of least resistance…

It is true that when one door closes, one more opens…

And, I feel much gratitude for never having lost my sense of wonder…

Time spent in the mountains warms the heart and feeds the soul.

So regularly seek out a place that brings you comfort and helps keep your life in perspective. Some place tranquil that works for you. The context is different for each of us.

Make sure to savor the view and appreciate its beauty and messages. Life’s lessons are important to learn and remember.

Take a walk, alone or with loved ones. Hold hands. Explore your surroundings. Count your blessings.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets…
